Sharice Lane a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with over fifteen years of experience and the owner of Early Access, LLC. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and continued my graduate studies at Rush University in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience in elementary schools, private clinics, home visiting, and research organizations. In 2018, she was named a Diversity Fellow with the Association of University Centers for Disabilities in which I received a certificate in Early Childhood Intervention at Georgetown University. Sharice developed a strong interest in program monitoring, evaluation, and policy, as an education program specialist who provided statewide technical assistance for early childhood special education programs. She would later earn a doctorate degree with a concentration in early literacy intervention at American University. Her research investigated teachers’ understanding of their linguistic identities and how to leverage this knowledge to provide culturally sustaining literacy instruction. Her studies culminated in an array of speaking events and an award nominated short documentary film at the 2024 Lane Doc Fest. Sharice currently works with multiple school districts to improve early literacy, language, and inclusive learning opportunities for students and their families.
